Get to know Greg

Born in Manassas VA just south of DC and raised in both Northern VA as well as Franklin County VA. He grew up spending time between his family’s machine shop and a family friend’s tattoo shop and quickly fell in love with art, tattooing, and working hard to become the best he could be at whatever he set his mind to. As he got older he put that mind set to work and became a standout Football player and Wrestler earning both All state and All American honors in Wrestling for Franklin county high school, receiving multiple D1 scholarship offers. He spent time at both Ferrum College as well as the University of Maryland majoring in Advertising Design but decided college just wasn’t for him. After college he pursued being a professional athlete as he competed in mixed martial arts (mma) but after enough injuries built up from all his years of sports he decided to end his athletic career and focus on providing for his new family. He did road work and warehouse work for years until finally his wife convinced him to chase his dream of being a full time tattoo artist. He worked 3 jobs as well as worked full time at the tattoo shop he started his apprenticeship with until he had built up a big enough reputation to focus on tattooing full time and Soon after made the move to Mischief Ink.

Hobbies include watching sports, cooking, spending time with his family, traveling, Harry Potter marathons, and drawing 

His favorite styles vary from American and Neo Traditional, Japanese, new school, and black and grey and would really love to develop a style that mashes neo traditional tattoos with a defaced graffiti style
